Keeping track of my parking session – Help Center

You can check how much time is left on your parking session in the PayByPhone app, through SMS reminders, or on your Apple Watch.

Need more time? If extensions are available at your location, you may also be able to add more time before your session expires.

📋 NOTE: Some locations have a maximum stay or lock-out period. If the maximum time has been reached, you may not be able to extend your session.

Parking rules, including maximum stay times and extension availability, are set by the parking operator or local authority, not PayByPhone.

Check your time in the PayByPhone app

The PayByPhone app shows your active parking session while the app is open.

Your active session overview shows:

If extensions are available at your location, the ‘Extend’ button will appear.

If you have opted in to receive SMS reminders, we will send you a text message before your current parking session expires.

This can help remind you to extend your session, if available, or return to your vehicle before the session ends.

Your parking session can be extended using the app, our automated phone line, or our website.

For users with an Apple Watch, the watch app will install automatically when you download the iOS app.

Tap the PayByPhone app icon on your Apple Watch to view your current parking status, including:

If the ‘Extend’ button does not appear, extensions may not be available for that location, or the maximum stay may have been reached.

Please check the parking signs or local rules before leaving your vehicle.
