How It Works
1. Search & Select
Access Reservations within the PayByPhone app from the map.
- Open the map and select Reservations to view available reservable parking locations.
- Enter your preferred arrival and departure times.
- Browse available facilities using the map or list view.
- Compare pricing and key details such as in-and-out privileges and vehicle height restrictions.
- Select the parking option that best fits your trip.
You may also see “spots remaining” at certain locations during busy times.
2. Book & Pay
- Select your vehicle.
- Confirm your email address.
- Review your booking details.
- Select your preferred payment method.
- Tap Pay to Book to complete your reservation.
Upon successful booking, you will receive:
- An in-app confirmation with your digital parking pass.
- A PayByPhone email receipt.
Your confirmation includes your digital parking pass, which contains:
- Facility details
- Entry and exit instructions (if applicable)
- Access credentials (QR code or barcode where required)
3. Manage Your Booking
Before your reservation start time, you can:
Change Your Vehicle
Update your vehicle from the reservation summary screen before the booking starts. An updated confirmation email will be sent.
Cancel Your Reservation
Cancel directly in the PayByPhone app using the Cancel Booking button at the bottom of the Reservation Summary. Eligibility is based on the facility’s cancellation policy.

4. Go to Your Booking
On the day of your reservation:
- Open your parking pass from the Home screen (Activity section).
- Tap Directions for navigation to the correct entrance.
- Follow entry instructions shown in your pass.
- Use your access credentials if required.
Your pass displays the correct entrance address and required access details.
5. View Reservation History
After your trip, you can review:
- Past reservations
- Booking details
All from your reservation history in the app.

1. How much does Parking Reservations cost?
Pricing varies by location, date, and duration. You will always see the full price before confirming your booking. Payment is only taken after you confirm.
2. How do I know my reservation is confirmed?
The app will confirm once your booking is successfully completed.
- An in-app confirmation message will appear.
- A confirmation email with your parking pass and receipt will be sent.
3. How do I know parking is available for my time?
Enter your arrival and departure times when searching. Only available facilities for that time range will appear.
4. I reserved parking, but the lot is full.
If you arrive and the facility appears full, or you experience access issues, please contact SpotHero customer support for assistance in finding an alternative option.
5. Can I update my vehicle?
Yes. You can update your vehicle before the reservation start time using the Reservation Summary screen.
6. Can I extend my parking session?
No. Reservations cannot be extended or modified once they have started. If you need more time, you will need to check availability and create a new reservation.
7. Why is the rate different than expected?
Pricing depends on location, time, duration, and demand. The full price is always shown before booking. For pricing questions, contact SpotHero customer support.
8. I have an oversized vehicle. Can I park?
Vehicle restrictions vary by facility. Please review the location details before booking.
9. Can I park more than one vehicle?
Each reservation is valid for one vehicle. Separate reservations are required for additional vehicles.
10. What payment methods are accepted?

11. Can I get a refund?
Refund eligibility depends on the facility’s cancellation policy, shown before booking. Cancellations must be made before the reservation start time to be eligible.

12. How far in advance can I book?
Most reservations can be made up to six weeks in advance. Some airport locations may allow booking up to 364 days in advance.
13. Do I need to do anything on exit?
Some facilities require QR code scanning upon exit. Follow the instructions provided in your parking pass.
