Before you start
PayByPhone helps customers pay for parking, but parking operators manage local parking rules, enforcement, rates, and ticket dispute processes.
📋 NOTE: The terms Parking Authority, Operator, and Vendor refer to the organization responsible for enforcement, rate management, customer service policies, and overall location management.

When to contact the parking operator
You may be directed to the parking operator for help with the following issues:
- Parking tickets or citations
- Ticket dispute or appeal instructions
- Location settings, including rates, time units, and maximum stay rules
- Meter, kiosk, or other parking hardware issues
- Enforcement-related questions
- Requests to add accepted payment methods, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or American Express
