PayByPhone Huawei QuickApp App

The Huawei App Gallery (HAG QuickApp) has decided to offer Huawei phone users that cannot use the Android native App on their Huawei device due to compatibility issues with older devices.  This is the PBP Web App with the functionality and UI of the Android native App with fewer bells and whistles.

What this means is you will still be able to;

• Park, make a new parking payment for your desired session
• Update your account information
• Extend any already live parking transactions (parking extensions) that you have on your account (this is also dependant on posted parking restrictions like a 'max parking time')

You will not have access to location service-related options;

• Map's (will be available in 2021)
• Notifications from local Parking Authorities in your area that use the PayByPhone solution as an alternative means of payment for their parking.

How to get the QuickApp for your Huawei device?

You need only go on to the AppGallery (you can use the HAG Store App on your device), search for the PayByPhone App, and then select it for download.

Once installed you can open the App and either sign in to your existing account (assuming that you already have one), and if you do not have an account yet you may register from the landing screen.

What if I am having issues installing the App?

Huawei will be offering support for this as it is their App store and that is not controlled by PayByPhone.
