Once your parking session has started, the transaction details (plate # and location info) is sent directly to the handheld units that the Parking Enforcement Officers can access. The session details are not integrated with the meters. The app will provide a system confirmation to indicate that the parking session has started. If you made a payment at the meter as well as the through PayByPhone and are requesting reimbursement, please reach out to the parking operator directly.
PayByPhone operates as the transacting platform between a parker and the parking operator (the city or private company). Charges withdrawn are immediately transferred to our clients and not held by PayByPhone. All reimbursement requests are subject to the discretion of the parking operator and the outcome will vary dependant on the request. In most cases, PayByPhone is unable to issue a refund on the operators behalf.
