The MPA will now be offering residents a lower cost to the intended price hike coming January 1, 2019.
Existing license plates with a proper MPA zip code that are already receiving the discount will be auto-enrolled in the program. If the plate has been enabled, you will see the option to park using both the public and residential plate. Once you select the residential plate option, the system should default to this option whenever it is available.
The discount is tied to a license plate rather than an account. If you add a new license plate, it will need to be enabled to access the rate.
Residential costs are available on web and through the apps, but not the IVR (dial-in)

Pre-enrolled plates will be uploaded. Current users must select the residential rate from the drop-down menu.
What if I select the wrong rate policy?
You must follow the refund policies for the parking authority. The MPA ask that you call 305 373 6789 x 202 or send an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I add a new vehicle to the list?
I do not see the discount rate being applied
It is possible the plate has not yet been updated. Please visit https://www.miamiparking.com/pay-by-phone/. We have uploaded all existing discounted plates as of December 23rd, 2018.
Some of the rates are only available during specified time of the day. The parking authority sets these times, for more information on rates, please reach out to the MPA directly. The MPA can be reached by calling 305 373 6789 x 202 or send an email request to email@example.com.
What locations offer the discount?
You can park at any Miami Parking Authority location that has set up residential rates as an option.
Can the discount be applied retroactively?
