Tap the Settings icon 
located at the top right corner of the PayByPhone home screen.
Select the Notification Settings menu option.
Set how you would like to be notified:
SMS RECEIPTS (US only): toggle this option will send a receipt to the phone number associated with your account.
EMAIL RECEIPTS: Turning this option on will send an email receipt to the email address
SMS REMINDERS*: turn this option on to receive a text message 5-7 minutes prior to your active parking session expiring. An option to extend your parking is offered via the text message.
*If the SMS Reminders option is not visible in your settings it hasn't been enabled on your account. Visit PayByPhone Sign in to enable the feature under your profile or see the Website section of this article below.

Tap the menu icon located on the top left of the home screen (3 stacked horizontal lines)
Under My Account select Notifications

Enter your email address below this option once enabled.

With this setting enabled, SMS reminders may not be necessary as they perform the same function as push notifications.

Login to your account at m2.paybyphone.com
Click the Profile button and scroll to the CONTACT DETAILS section.
SMS RECEIPTS (US only): toggle this option will send a receipt to the phone number associated with your account.
EMAIL RECEIPTS: Enter your email address below your first and last name and then check off 'Send me a receipt for each transaction by email'. A receipt will automatically send to you once your parking session has completed.
SMS REMINDERS: Check off 'Send me a text reminder prior to the expiry of each parking session
( additional fees might apply )' to receive an SMS 5-7 minutes before your parking session expires.
Click 'Update Contact Details' to save changes.
With this setting enabled, SMS reminders may not be necessary as they perform the same function as push notifications.
