- There was a typo when the account was first created and you are receiving messages unrelated to you.

We have recently become aware of several fraudulent accounts masquerading as PayByPhone. These accounts are using advertising (such as text messages) to trick people into messaging them and subsequently trying to take money from you.Please know PayByPhone will never ask you to make any payment via text message. We work with the relevant authorities to minimize these accounts. However, we also urge you to exercise caution and to only make payments directly within the authorized PayByPhone app, website, or phone number, all available via https://www.paybyphone.com
