Parking receipts are available via our receipts through our web portal as well as mobile web, iOS & Android receipts.

👉 How do receipts work?
*VAT is the UK term for tax
The system will generate a one-off guest receipt at the point of purchase. Receipts for guest transactions cannot be obtained at a later date.
Note: Users will need to rely on emailed receipts for items relating to ticket disputes.
Registered users can access receipts31 days at a time by visiting https::paybyphpone.com/receipts Any PBP user who has opted into free email receipts via https://m2.paybyphone.com/account/notifications will receive standard receipts when a parking session is bought.
👉 I cannot find my receipt.
If you have an email address on your account, registered or guest, you are sent an email at the point of a (successful) payment process. Please check your emails including your junk folder.
👉 I do not see my receipt when I log in to the Receipts portal.
You may have been transacting as a guest. Guest account users are unable to obtain historical parking records. Rather, they are emailed a receipt at the time of parking.
👉 The app states that the transaction was successful, however, I have not yet received my emailed receipt.
Parking Receipts are sent within 15 minutes of processing the transaction.
To confirm that your parking has started, please follow these instructions:
- App or Mobile Web Platform: Refresh the app to see if a countdown clock displays the remaining time on your parking session.
- IVR (dial-in service): Call back into the automated line and the system will audibly read back your parking details.
- Check your spam folder
- Check your internet banking source (if available)
- Check your Notification Settings
- Consider opting in for an SMS receipt (charges apply)
- Check with your email server to see if noreply@paybyphone.com has been blocked as an 'unsafe' sender.

👉 I used Apple ID and or Facebook to sign in. How can I access receipts?
If you've logged into your PayByPhone account using your Apple or Facebook credentials and have verified your phone number for SMS confirmation or reminders,you can access the Receipts portal. If it is your first time logging in, you'll need to reset your password or PIN.
Accessing Receipts via Social Accounts before 2022
- If your account was created before Feb 2022 on the versions before the above listed, your social account has a phone number attached. You will still need to reset your password or PIN if you are logging into the Receipt Portal for the first time.
👉 Can I be emailed an invoice at the end of the month?
Monthly Invoices are not available.
👉 I changed phone numbers and no longer have access to the transactions associated with my old account.
Once your account has been deleted, transactions are no longer accessible. Please note that our support team may be able to assist with copies of your parking history if the account has not been deleted given you can prove the account is yours.
👉 The transaction dates do not match my credit card statement.
There can be delays between when the transaction is processed and when it is cleared by your financial institution. For instance, if you park on a bank holiday, the payment may not reconcile until the following business day. This may lead to variations in dates and the possibility of seeing multiple charges on the same day.
👉 I need to change the email address that my receipts are sent to.

👉 Can I merge my guest account and registered account transactions?
PayByPhone cannot merge guest or registered accounts together.
👉 I see a $/£/€ 1.00 authorization on my account from your company.
You may see an authorization if you add a new card to your account. This charge will disappear within a few business days.
👉 Canada: How is GST/PST reflected?
PayByPhone does not charge GST or PST. These taxes are applied by the parking operator to the revenue portion of the parking rates. To obtain GST and PST information, please contact the parking operator directly.
👉 UK: Is VAT applied to all parking sessions?
VAT is charged only if your parking location is an off-street car park. VAT is not applicable for on-street parking sessions.

Login to your PayByPhone account at PayByPhone Receipts

Click the 'Receipts' button on the Transaction page. By default, your account will show the 10 most recent parking transactions.

Click on the 'Parking Transactions' section and select the date up to a maximum 31 days at a time.

Click 'Save as PD'F or 'Save as CSV' to download.

Exporting your parking history

Click the 'Menu Settings' > select 'Parking History' > review your transaction information listed in chronological order.
