Registering and accessing your PayByPhone account
PayByPhone offers multiple methods for registration and account access.
- Register with your phone number or email
- Sign in with Apple
- Sign in with Google
- Transact in Guest Mode (temporary account)

Registration issues
Account already exists
It’s possible that the phone number you are using is already associated with an account.
This can happen if:
- Your phone number has been recycled and previously used by another customer
- You created an account in the past and are attempting to register again
- You are trying to convert a guest account into a registered account
If this occurs, please connect with our Virtual Assistant using the widget in the bottom-right corner of this article.
Login tips
- Be mindful of capital letters, spaces, and special characters when entering your password
- Ensure you are using the correct international prefix for your phone number
- Recall how you previously logged in. You may have used Apple ID or Google sign-in instead of your phone number
- If you share an account, confirm you are not logged in under someone else’s details
Troubleshooting login issues
Reset your password
To reset your password:
- Click Sign in
- Select Forgot Password
- Enter your phone number
- Click Send Code
- Enter the verification code sent to you
Additional checks
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure you are using the latest version of the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Restart your device and relaunch the app
Note: Verification codes are only sent to registered account holders.
When entering your phone number, the field will turn green and the Send Code button will become active.
If you do not receive a verification code, it may be because:
- You are using Guest Mode
- You signed in using Apple or Google
- You are entering an old or incorrect phone number
In these cases, you may need to create a new account, as we are unable to confirm whether an account exists for security reasons.
Important: Verification codes are sent via SMS and/or email depending on your region, and expire after 30 minutes. Please ensure you complete the process within that timeframe.
