PayByphone is obliged to apply the pricing rules set by the cities and parking operators. The cost of parking should match the information on the signage.
If you note a discrepancy, it could be related to the following:
- Convenience Fee. There is a transaction fee ranging from $0 to $0.35 per parking session/extension. Some parking organizations absorb this cost on behalf of the customer. The fee covers features that are unavailable if you pay at the meter. These include features such as email receipts, in-app notifications, and geolocation services.
- SMS Options. Visit SMS Notifications for more information on benefits and pricing.
- Special Event Pricing. Parking Operators sometimes update rates if a special event is happening.
